A New Home for the Rhino Art Story
A special chapter in the Rhino Art story has begun with the opening of the Rhino Art Gallery at Dieter Lutge's Farm Museum, just outside Zinkwazi in KwaZulu-Natal.
The new gallery brings together years of artwork, photographs, memories and stories - celebrating the people and children's voices behind the Rhino Art journey. It traces the story from its beginnings in 2013, through the World Youth Rhino Summit and its journey across Africa and around the world. The Rhino Art archives now have a permanent home, where they can continue to educate, inspire and support conservation fundraising.
A very special thank you to the Kingsley Holgate Foundation, our Rhino Art partner since its inception, and to Sheelagh Antrobus and Kingsley Holgate, whose vision and unwavering commitment have been a driving force behind the Rhino Art story from the very beginning.
The gallery was unveiled while hosting 130 Kiwi supporters touring with the All Blacks. A special Kiwi message from Pete Eastwood and a surprise performance by Qadasi & Maqhinga made the evening even more memorable!
Thank you to Dieter and his family, Taryn Wiltshire and the Shaka Signs team in Eshowe, and everyone who helped bring the gallery to life. To all our supporters who have played your own special role in the evolving story of Rhino Art - we thank you.

Where Grit Met Heart
WOW - what a year for Run for Rangers!
The 2026 Run for Rangers brought together its biggest field yet, with 22 runners - including international participants from the USA and China, taking on the challenging two-day 100km trail run in Babanango Game Reserve.
The terrain was tough, but the rewards were extraordinary! Along the route, runners connected with the ranger teams who protect this wilderness every day and were treated to sightings of two rhino crashes, an elephant bull, giraffe, zebra, kudu and herds of red hartebeest. Seeing wildlife in its natural habitat was a powerful reminder of exactly what they were running for.
Run for Rangers has now helped raise more than R3.3 million for conservation in South Africa. Behind every rand is a ranger supported on the ground, training and equipment they rely on, and ongoing resources needed to protect our wild spaces.

Behind every working K9 anti-poaching unit is a dog that needs to be healthy, strong and ready for action.
Through their ongoing partnership with Project Rhino, Trusty Dog Food provides the daily nutrition that keeps our K9s healthy, energised and ready for the demands of life on the frontline.
Lizzard South Africa
Lizzard is helping Project Rhino's K9 Anti-Poaching Unit stay equipped for life on the frontline.
Their ongoing support has included rain jackets, flasks, mugs and coffee plungers for our K9 handlers, with an earlier donation of backpacks during the CMH / Foton vehicle handover earlier this year.
Support World Rhino Month
World Rhino Day is coming up on 22 September and we're getting the next generation involved!
This September, we're inviting schools, parents and wildlife supporters to help turn a passion for wildlife into action and participate in World Rhino Month.
Small actions can make a big difference:
Host a Civvies Day at your school and ask learners to donate R10 towards rhino conservation.
Imagine & create a Future Rhino through art and show us what the future of rhino conservation looks like.
Support Rhino Art by donating stationery and art supplies to help young voices speak up for wildlife.
