With 10% of every T-shirt sale donated to Project Rhino, each purchase helps support our efforts to protect South Africa’s rhino population and the teams working to safeguard them.

The Tusk Trust supports Project Rhino’s ranger teams through the Wildlife Ranger Challenge Fund, an annual initiative that brings together ranger teams from across Africa to raise funds for ranger teams and conservation efforts.

Organised by Tusk and the Game Rangers’ Association of Africa (GRAA), the Wildlife Ranger Challenge combines a series of physical and mental challenges for ranger teams, culminating in a coordinated 21km race. The Challenge celebrates the dedication and courage of the men and women who protect wildlife and the landscapes we call home.

Funds raised through the Challenge contribute to ranger teams, including Project Rhino’s K9 Unit, helping provide the resources and support needed to carry out their work. The campaign’s impact is further increased through match funding from generous partners, including founding donor Mark Scheinberg, alongside the Disney Conservation Fund, EJF Philanthropies and Defender.

Project Rhino is proud to take part in this annual event alongside ranger teams from across Africa, recognising their contribution to protecting our natural world.

CMH Group, together with a network of valued suppliers and industry partners, came together to support Project Rhino’s K9 Unit with a brand-new Foton 4x4 operational vehicle.

Fitted with custom K9 transport cages and built to handle demanding terrain, the vehicle enables our K9 team to travel safely and reliably while supporting monitoring and anti-poaching operations across reserves and wild spaces in KwaZulu-Natal.

This generous partnership was made possible through the support of Foton SA, Budget Insurance, Glasfit, LLumar, Tyremart, Designation, Lizzard, On Point Welding & Assembly, Rack Xpert and Fast Sails.

We are extremely grateful to First Car and Van Rental, in collaboration with Stellantis, for generously supporting our coordination team with a durable Peugeot Landtrek. Dogs4Wildlife is a UK based, non-profit organisation with a mission to conserve and protect endangered species and prevent wildlife crime through the training and supply of anti-poaching dogs, alongside effective education.

Tanglewood Foundation NZ, previously the iMake A Difference Trust, provides funding for various conservation and education projects around the world, focusing on wildlife conservation projects in Southern Africa as well as New Zealand. The Foundation, under Peter Eastwood, is a long term partner of Project Rhino, sponsoring our Rhino Art vehicle, “The Rhino Rig”, in 2020 as well as supporting our ZAP-Wing and Rhino Art projects over the years.

Rexx is one of South Africa’s leading suppliers to the screen and digital printing industries, with expertise across both traditional screen printing and digital print solutions.

Since 2018, Project Rhino has been Rexx’s nominated charity at the annual FESPA Africa exhibition. As part of their showcase, Rexx creates a range of wildlife-inspired T-shirts, which are then donated to Project Rhino to sell in support of our conservation work.

We are grateful to Rexx for combining their expertise and creativity with their commitment to conservation, helping turn their exhibition into an opportunity to raise funds for Project Rhino.

A big thank you to Rafikis Family Restaurant in Huluhluwe who organise “Rafikis Rhino Run” annually. The event - a fun 5km walk/run among wildlife - is always lively, with participants donning their best pink outfits and lipstick in support of rhino conservation.

Sarah Cobden-Ramsey, founder of Rhino Tears Jewellery, was inspired after meeting Thandi - a survivor of a brutal poaching attack at Kariega Game Reserve. 100% of profits from the unique Rhino Tears jewellery range goes to supporting conservation and anti-poaching initiatives, including Project Rhino and Rhino Art. Rhino Tears also assisted in getting our ZAP-Wing back in the air after an engine replacement was needed, which we are exceptionally grateful for.

Goway is a tour operator with a long-standing history in North America. For decades, Goway Travel has been guiding tours through Africa, Asia, Latin America, the United States, Europe and more. As donor partners, Goway generously give us $20 for every Africa specific booking.

Conservation Solutions International is a non-profit organisation with a mission to halt the demise of endangered species of fauna and flora throughout the world through the training of specialised dogs and their ranger-handlers.

As part of their social responsibility program - and just because these awesome prehistoric animals have such a special place in their hearts - Rhino Hosting have pledged to donate 5% of turnover to Project Rhino.

Based in the UK, Miro & Makauri are a wholesale pet accessories company who produce high quality dog accessories as well as the Maks’ Patch range of natural vegan dog treats. Miro & Makauri have partnered with Project Rhino to help fund dog-food and veterinary supplies for our anti-poaching K9 unit. Following their successful plant-based dog treats, UN affiliated tree planting scheme in Uganda and ongoing single-plastic reduction drive, Miro & Makauri wanted to support a conservation and wildlife charity that used and supported dogs in their work.

The Rhino Recovery Fund, managed and administered by the Wildlife Conservation Network, generously supported our K9, ZAP-Wing and coordination efforts in 2020/2021 which were severely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. WCN protects endangered wildlife by supporting conservationists who ensure wildlife and people co-exist and thrive, while the RRF has a mission to invest in the most effective organisations and projects dedicated to defending our remaining rhinos and supporting their recovery.

The Brady Hunter Foundation generously supported Project Rhino with a dedicated ZAP-Wing aircraft, providing an important resource for our aerial anti-poaching and surveillance operations.

The aircraft enables our team to cover large areas efficiently, monitor reserves, identify suspicious activity and provide rapid support to ground teams. With aerial patrols forming an important part of our conservation operations, having a dedicated aircraft allows us to extend our reach and strengthen the protection of rhinos and other wildlife.

Stop Poaching Now (SPN) is a US-based conservation organisation supporting grassroots partners and on-the-ground wildlife protection across Africa. Through funding, education and international conservation initiatives, SPN works to bring communities and conservation organisations together to tackle the growing threat of wildlife crime.

Project Rhino is proud to be one of SPN’s boots-on-the-ground conservation partners. SPN supports our anti-poaching operations and community conservation work, helping provide resources for the teams working to protect rhinos and other wildlife in the wild.

Lizzard is a proudly South African outdoor lifestyle brand, creating practical, durable clothing and gear designed for life in the outdoors.

Lizzard supports Project Rhino’s K9 anti-poaching unit by providing practical equipment to help our handlers in the field. Their contributions have included rain jackets, flasks, mugs, coffee plungers and backpacks, helping to keep our K9 handlers equipped and supported during their demanding work.

Brockholes Blacknoses is a family-run sheep business in Cumbria, England, with a passion for Valais Blacknose sheep and a love of Africa and its wildlife.

Through their “Our Valais Blacknoses Want to Help Save Big Noses” initiative, they donate 100% of proceeds from their rhino-themed products to Project Rhino, supporting our ranger and K9 teams on the ground in KwaZulu-Natal.

Impact Bridges Group is an advisory non-profit that helps social-impact organisations develop, measure and finance projects that deliver meaningful social and environmental outcomes.

The Impact Bridges Fund works with Project Rhino by providing strategic guidance and expertise around the allocation and use of funds directed towards our conservation work. Their involvement helps ensure that funding is carefully considered and directed towards initiatives that deliver meaningful conservation outcomes.

The Kingsley Holgate Foundation is a long-term partner in both the Rhino Art Project and World Youth Wildlife Summits, as well as the Feeding Wildlife Communities initiative. Kingsley Holgate is a renowned explorer and humanitarian involved in initiatives such as malaria prevention, water purification and Rite-to-Sight projects.

Acting for Rhinos, championed by Jean van Elden and Eden Schools Durban, is a long-standing collaboration between schools and the theatre community, raising funds for Project Rhino through drama, art, music and other creative initiatives.

Established in 2014, the initiative continues to inspire learners to use their creativity and passion to make a meaningful difference for rhino conservation.

Through activities such as the annual Footsie Rhino Walk, Acting for Rhinos brings students, educators and the wider arts community together in support of Project Rhino’s conservation work.

Keegan Daniel, ex-Springbok and Sharks rugby player, is a Project Rhino Ambassador and passionate wildlife advocate.

Having worked with Project Rhino, Keegan has seen firsthand the importance of protecting wildlife and the wider impact conservation has on ecosystems, tourism and surrounding communities.

Keegan has generously used his time and influence to support the Project Rhino message. In 2022, he took part in the Run for Rangers, completing an incredible 100km trail run in support of wildlife rangers.

Project Rhino Ambassador Harry Bailey, and founder of Run for Rangers, is committed to supporting the rangers on the frontlines of conservation.

In 2022, at just 18 and a student at Hilton College, Harry challenged himself to run 100km through BIG 5 territory to raise awareness and support for Rangers.

What began as a personal challenge has grown into an annual multi-day trail run in partnership with Project Rhino and Sport for Lives. Run for Rangers has raised over R2.3 million to support rangers, while giving participants the opportunity to experience the landscapes they protect and connect with the people on the frontline.

Princess Nandi Zulu, a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation in Zululand, has supported Project Rhino in raising awareness for the protection of endangered species and their natural habitats.

In 2019, Princess Nandi made history as the first Zulu Royal Princess to skydive, taking part in Project Rhino’s Skydive for Rhinos initiative to raise funds for rhino conservation.

Her courage has helped shine a light on the urgent need to protect South Africa’s wildlife.

Catherine Constantinides, Miss Earth South Africa 2003, is a humanitarian, environmental activist and passionate advocate for conservation, climate action and social justice.

In 2025, Catherine joined the Project Rhino team on the ground during a rhino dehorning operation. Spending time alongside veterinarians, rangers, wildlife experts and conservation teams, she experienced firsthand the complex and urgent work involved in protecting rhino, as well as the challenges facing both the species and those working to safeguard them.

Inspired by the experience and the people behind the work, Catherine continues to share the importance of conservation of all wildlife species.

Nunu’s story: “When I was a small boy, I used to herd my father’s cattle along with some of the other boys in KwaJobe where I grew up alongside the uMkhuze Game Reserve in Northern Zululand. One day our games went on for too long and, when I looked up, the cattle had disappeared. I followed their tracks and then climbed a big tree. What I saw was amazing. The trees and rolling hills stretched out and, in the distance, I saw my cattle, among which was a huge animal that I had never seen before. It held its big square head close to the ground and a long slightly curved horn pointed towards me. I knew I was looking at umkhombe. It was my very first white rhino sighting, and my life changed from poaching bush meat in the Reserve to following a life in conservation, bringing people from all over the world to meet Rhino as I first met him, on foot.” Nunu has become the renowned barefoot trails guide who, through his business Untravelled Trails, leads guests on short bush walks and overnight primitive trails in both the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and Hluhluwe game reserves. The Rhino remains his talisman and he has supported Project Rhino initiatives for many years.

Hailing from Empangeni in the heart of Zululand, Qadasi and Maqhinga are an acoustic duo on a quest to revive the powerful sounds of traditional Maskandi music. The duo have been recognised with numerous awards and accolades and have served as Project Rhino ambassadors for a number of years.

Dan Chiorboli is a celebrated musician who has performed all over the world and has worked as a session musician on over 200 albums. He is also a passionate conservationist and is a proud Project Rhino brand ambassador as he travels across the globe.

Sport for Lives uses sport to bring people and communities together around causes that matter. Through its partnership with Project Rhino, the annual Run for Rangers event raises funds in recognition of the dedicated rangers who work on the frontline of conservation across KwaZulu-Natal.

The 100km trail run challenges participants while generating support for Project Rhino’s ranger teams and the important work they do to protect wildlife, reserves and wild spaces.
